I have grown up with labradors since being about 13 years old.
My step dad had always had a 'working' dog in the house. I had always wanted to have a labrador living with me ... but ended
up seeing a dog I liked and brought him home from the RSPCA, he was called Sammy, he was fine for a while and then
he changed! I felt my daughter was at risk because he was always growling at her. I had no choice but to have him return
to the RSPCA :-( After that I told myself that with a child in the house; who always has her friends over, I wouldn't
have anything but a labrador. Then while at a friends I fell in love with a chocolate labrador, I went down to have a party
weekend and came home with my first labrador. We named him Bisto. Sadly though I had to rehome Bisto last year, even though
I know it was the best thing for him, we all still miss him very much!! I felt I wasn't having much luck with my dogs. But
Tia and Remi are here to stay :-)
While we had Bisto I found and fell in love with Tia. Tia was
only 6 weeks old and VERY small. But she grew lol as they do and is now a healthy and good looking pampered pooch. I am hoping
to breed Tia during her next season this year 2006 :-) And I have a stunning Chocolate stud dog all set up!!! She has
been fantastic with my daughters friends coming and going all day long hehehe. My daughters friends love playing with Tia
and coming for a walk with us.
Then came Remi, she was our show dog with lots of potential.
Remi was our first show dog and we were doing well together :-) But now I have decided to take a break from showing her.
